Managing diseases of the human body is as complex as governing the universe itself.
In the past, chronic diseases were called “adult diseases,” but over the past two decades, the term “lifestyle diseases” has become more prevalent. This shift reflects the understanding that these conditions arise not from age, but from unhealthy lifestyle habits—prolonged poor dietary choices, smoking and alcohol consumption, stress, lack of sleep, insufficient exercise, and environmental factors.
Many people prioritize money or work over health in their busy lives. However, it is only after illness strikes that they truly realize the value of good health. While average life expectancy has increased, so has the number of people living
debilitated by various chronic conditions. Even when the importance of lifestyle habits is recognized belatedly, changing long-established patterns is difficult—and even when changes are made, recovering from deeply rooted chronic diseases is not easy.
So how can we improve our body’s internal environment and enhance its natural healing capacity?
