Clinical trial studies related to breast cancer, PBMT, and LLLT were searched in PubMed, AMED, Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure up until November 2016. Two reviewers independently evaluated the methodological quality and validity of PBM therapy across various clinical trials.

Conclusion
Eleven clinical trials were identified, of which seven randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were selected for analysis. Overall, the methodological quality of the included RCTs was high, but there was insufficient reporting on treatment parameters. The results indicated strong evidence (three high-quality trials) that PBMT is more effective than sham treatment in reducing limb circumference/volume in short-term follow-ups. There was also moderate evidence (one high-quality trial) that PBM therapy is more effective than sham laser treatment for short-term pain relief.

The systematic review suggests that PBMT may be considered an effective therapeutic approach for women with breast cancer-related lymphedema.

Various symptoms of menstrual syndrome

During menstruation, changes in the secretion of various hormones and bleeding cause diverse physical changes.
Common symptoms include abdominal pain, lower back pain, migraines, nausea, breast tenderness, feelings of depression, and abdominal bloating.

Armpit Pain Occurring
Before and After Menstruation

Armpit pain is one of the common symptoms experienced before and after menstruation. If discomfort is felt in the armpit during this time, an accessory breast might be suspected.

The term “accessory breast” literally means having an additional breast. It primarily occurs in the armpit area aside from the left and right breasts. It can appear as a protrusion in the armpit, resembling a breast.

Characteristics of Accessory Breast in the Armpit

There is a hard area that can be felt in the armpit or inner arm.
Pain occurs according to the menstrual cycle.
The armpit may appear more protruded than in others.
There is generally excessive sweating in the armpit.
The armpit area protrudes significantly, especially after pregnancy and childbirth.
The armpit becomes saggy from the point when breastfeeding is stopped.
